Seymour Nathaniel Siegel was program director of New York City's public radio station, WNYC, from 1934-1947. In 1947, he was appointed director of New York City's Municipal Broadcasting System, a position he held until 1971. Throughout his career he taught broadcasting at colleges in New York and Boston.
